Easy tips to improve your health. My daily rituals!

I am always offering health tips to my clients and I am always surprised when I offer something that they never heard of. I assume all the knowledge I have, you have too, which is not always the case. I thought it was be fabulous to compile all my daily/weekly rituals to help you live your best and healthiest life!


Oil pulling, also known as "kavala" or "gundusha," is an ancient Ayurvedic dental technique that involves swishing a tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth for 5-20 minutes. This action supposedly draws out toxins in your body, primarily to improve oral health but also to improve your overall health.

Benefits: • Whiter teeth • Cavity and gingivitis prevention • Better breath (halitosis suffers also reported greatly improved morning breath) • Stronger teeth and gums • Less jaw pain (TMJ sufferers noted great improvement), sleep problems and sinus issues • Alleviation of headaches, hangovers and skin issues (reports have shown improvement in acne, psoriasis and eczema)


Dry brushing works by exfoliating the skin, brushing the entire body upward towards the heart. I do this everyday after I shower. I placed coconut on my body and then dry brush away! The idea is that the coarse fibers will help to remove dead skin and improve the skin's ability to eliminate toxins through the pores; improve circulation, releases toxins flowing through the lymphatic system, reduce cellulite and can release blockages in the nervous and lymphatic system. I used to have nerve issues and very challenging circulation issues, I am happy to report that my circulation has improved greatly and I have not experienced any nerve issues for over 6 years.

Gua Sha stone

Facial Gua Sha is a massage technique designed to relieve tension in the muscles of the face, boost blood circulation, and encourage lymphatic drainage to banish bloat. It helps break up fascia, the connective tissue that hugs muscles but can sometimes interfere with optimal circulation. I place my Gua Sha stone in the freezer and each morning I put a facial oil on my face and begin my routine.

Celery Juice

I juice 16 oz of celery juice 3 times a week on an empty stomach. Per the Medical Medium "Celery is truly the savior when it comes to chronic illness. I used to have flare ups and digestive issues, and by incorporating celery juice into my routine, I only experience a stomach flare up 1-2 times a year, typically brought on my stress. Daily Juicing

On the days that I don't juice Celery juice, I drink a pure juice in the morning (check out Squeezed Juice Cleanses ) and I drink my coffee and then I practice intermittent fasting, where I eat between 12-8pm). This gives your body and digestive system a rest, time to reset and detox.

Coffee (and a Coffee Alternative)

For the most part I make my own cold brew coffee and I add 1/2 part coffee and 1/2 part Chaga Mushroom. I always add Maca root, Collagen, and ashwagandha to my coffee. Instead of Milk or Cream, I add Cashew or Oat Milk

Intermittent Fasting (Eat 12pm-8pm)

Studies show that intermittent fasting can: Stabilize blood sugar levels, increase resistance to stress, and suppress inflammation. Decrease blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and improve resting heart rate. Improve brain health and memory.

Facial Steaming

Steam opens up your pores and helps loosen any buildup of dirt for a deeper cleanse. Opening up your pores also softens blackheads, making them easier to remove. It promotes circulation. The combination of warm steam and an increase in perspiration dilates your blood vessels and increases circulation. One of the main benefits of using a facial steamer at home is that it increases blood circulation to the skin by raising the skin’s internal temperature & when you increase the skin’s temperature, oxygen flows to the surface and feeds the skin cells with new nutrients.

Digestive Enzymes

I have been taking Digestive Enzymes before every meal for about 5 years and I rarely have digestive issues anymore. Digestive enzymes are essential to nutrition and overall good health.
